Water damage is one of those problems that only gets worse the longer you ignore it. What starts as a stain or a soft spot in the wall turns into rotted framing, compromised insulation, and a space that's basically unusable. That's exactly what we were dealing with here - a commercial building that had taken serious water damage from the outside in.
The exterior told the whole story. The old siding was completely stripped down to the bare framing and wrap, with damaged insulation pulled away and debris cleared out. From there, we could see exactly what we were working with. Rotted and moisture-damaged areas on the ceiling framing were exposed inside, and some rooms had ceiling sections that had completely deteriorated and needed to come out entirely before any repair work could start.
Once the bad stuff was out, we got to work on the rebuild. Fresh drywall went up across the walls and ceilings throughout the main space - hung, taped, mudded, and finished smooth. We followed that up with a full interior paint job, bringing the whole space to a clean, consistent finish. One of the smaller office rooms also got new flooring installed - a dark wood-look plank that made a huge difference in how finished the room felt.
The contrast between where this building started and where it ended up is hard to overstate. Exposed rafters, beat-up walls, debris on the floor - all of it replaced with smooth painted drywall, clean trim work, and a bright, usable space. That's the kind of work we take seriously, because getting it right means the damage stays gone.
Water damage repair done halfway tends to come back. We make sure every layer - from the framing out to the final coat of paint - is done right so the space holds up long-term. Whether it's a commercial building or a home, drywall repair, interior painting, and full renovation work are all things we handle start to finish.
